Youth Communication's mission is to help young people in New York City develop the social-emotional learning (SEL) and literacy skills that contribute to personal growth, school success, and professional achievement Participants in our writing and youth development program create true-life stories that over 1,000 educators and out-of-school time staff use in their academic, counseling and youth deveopment work.  We also publish curricula that consist of anthologies of teen stories and extensive leader guides. Our professional development program trains educators to use stories and leader guide lessons.
