Boston Green Academy (BGA) is a Horace Mann charter school in the Boston Public Schools serving grades 6, 9-12. Our mission is to ensure that all students graduate prepared for success in college and the workforce. We educate our students to be leaders in environmental stewardship and activism, to live their lives responsibly and sustainably, and to be prepared to succeed in the burgeoning green economy. We will add grades 7 and 8, becoming a full 6-12 institution by 2016. BGA is especially committed to supporting and accelerating the learning of students who may have struggled academically, students who are learning English, students with disabilities, and those who have become disengaged from school and society.
