Excel was created to offer a tuition-free, public middle school alternative in the traditionally underserved communities of East Boston and Chelsea. The school offers a highly rigorous, college preparatory curriculum supported by a structured school culture. Excel's mission is to prepare middle school students to succeed in high school and college, apply their learning to solve relevant problems and engage productively in their communities.
