Urban Dove's mission is to provide at-risk children the critical skills needed to be successful and the opportunity to put those skills to use in the real world. Urban Dove programs fulfill this mission by providing young people with life skills, academic assistance, emotional support, college prep, and job training so they can reach their full potential and grow into healthy and successful adults. Founded in 1998, Urban Dove began with one program of 30 students and now serves over 500 children a year, ages 7-21, in the South Bronx, East Harlem and Brooklyn.
